BMW 325I M SPORT TOURER / SALOON

Hi All,

I am looking at buying an BMW m sport either touring or saloon, was looking at a 325 manual, petrol. Could anyone tell me about the 3.2ltr m sport, as I have already owned a 3.2 2006 and found it pretty gutless, I have got at the moment a 1996 323 with a 325 engine which is very responsive. I really have not got a clue as to which would be the better car, seems like the newer the BMW the more problems it has.

I'm guessing you mean the 2.2 that came in the 320i, it's not the same engine the 325i is a detuned 330i engine which I'd describe as brisk it shouldn't feel (unless you're used to 3.0tdi's) gutless.

I have a 2006 e90 325i in saloon form. I need to get round to updating my readers car thread as it's been a year, but it's not broken down or required any work in 3 years of ownership. Prices for these are very reasonable - I've seen some nice low mile (sub-60k miles) cars for not a lot more than £3000.
