Anybody seen a new '18' registration car (see Note 1) on the road?

Note 1.

Usual rules apply.

It must be on the public highway.

Not on trade plates.

Not on a forecourt.

Not parked.

A proper, legally registered, plated, etc. No weaselly getouts.

My word is final.

Saw a white mustang (of all things) behind me on an FX18 plate yesterday in Grantham, definitely had to do a double take. No trade plate visible in the windscreen as far as I can tell.

Glad I’m not picking up my 18 plate today....

Was following an 18 plate Ford Ranger on the M4 past Reading at lunchtime. Full hi vis stickers all over it and motorway maintenance. I guess they don’t really care if it’s snowing or not, it’s a pick up and has a job to do.

I'd like to see the one I ordered in December but the most recent update was that it gets to the dealer tomorrow and that I'd hear from logistics soon. That was a month ago!

I'm waiting for an email to tell me bad weather will delay its delivery. It's a Land Rover!

About 7am this morning, Black Audi A3, Kings Norton, Birmingham, the 18 caught my eye as I pulled onto a roundabout behind it.

Nice dose of salt for first day on the road....
