Dealer 'In Stock' Car been re-allocated - Timescales?

Just paid £250 deposit on a PCH from an Audi dealer, car is classed as 'in stock' and available as its built, just waiting on shipping, I assume from Emden.
Car is an A6 2.0 TDI S-Line Saloon - was told that a simple transfer between dealers was all that is needed to get the car and to start the shipping to UK.
A week later, still no agreement on the transfer (the dealer who the car was allocated to needs to agree a 'swap' with my dealer).
Anyone any experience of this before?
Will the car still get shipped from Emden regardless of which dealer it is allocated to or will it just there until the dealers come to an agreement?
