Can anyone help? I have a bad knee that can't take heavy clutch.
PS I hate autos.

I used to have a C2 VTS and don't ever recall it having a heavy clutch

Surely this could be any car with a hydraulic clutch, then you can have the cylinders up-sized to give you a lighter action.

You coming from a Clio 172 by any chance? I think almost any clutch will be light after one of those!

I believe the Panda 100HP's have a pretty light clutch but i've got no first hand experience of one. i'm afraid.

Out of those two cars i'd be going for the Panda anyway.

Don't know specifically about the 100hp but I did have the standard 1.2 Panda for over 3 years. Absolutely loved it, only got rid because I was going traveling. Clutch was very light and my girlfriend said it was like driving a toy (meant as a compliment) as it was so easy and nice to drive. Surprisingly spacious inside as well.

Thansk! :0) Yes, I had a clio 172 and did many thousands of miles in it. Horrendously heavy clutch. But my favourite ever car.

what version of the panda? I used to drive the previous model (mine was 2007) and the clutch was horrific, I had to drive it the other day and was horrible, it's so heavy. And that was after I replaced the clutch which previously was even worse

I drive a Panda 100HP and the clutch is not heavy, but I don't have a lot of cars to compare it against.

That said, my other half has a C2, albeit a standard 1.4 model. I can probably do a comparison, but that's assuming the huge torque of the 1.6 motor doesn't mean it has a heavier clutch.

Clutches aside, you should get the 100HP (or a Swift Sport) wink

Risk then you won't get full disengagement when clutch is worn if you have a worst-case clutch geometrically, and it's a non self adjusting.
