PCH gap insurance, who is best
Discussion
I've just signed up for a new Seat Leon on a 1+23 deal.
Do I need GAP insurance?
I've been reading loads of conflicting information on the subject. Of course, the helpful salesman in the Seat dealership advised that I should get it through them . . . . . . .
All help and advice appreciated.
Cheers

GAP insurance is covered for first 2 years of a new car with my NFU Mutual car insurance.
Are you sure that's strictly correct (although you do say covered rather than included)?I'm also with NFU & they do provide new for old cover for 2yrs (many others don't offer this or just offer 1yr), however it's not strictly GAP Insurance they provide, it's a new car if your's is a total loss in the first 2yrs (assuming you of course stay insured with NFU for 2yrs).
Hi all,
Katie at ALA here, PH just gave me permission to post here to clear up the query about AutoeBid.
We haven't bought them but are in partnership to provide GAP quotes - much the same as the partnership we have with Pistonheads.
Sorry for any confusion. If you have any questions or need any advice feel free to email me (katie@ala.co.uk) or have a look at our main PH thread here: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
Thanks,
Katie
