Ford Focus 1.6 ecoboost 180

We considering getting a Ford Focus Zetec S with the 180bhp 1.6 ecoboost engine. We're looking at a 2012 one.

Does anyone here have any experience of these, what are they like to live with?

My wife gets a lease car from Ford so we change every 3 months so have tried nearly all the Ford models.

They're all fine upstanding cars that work well, the smaller ecoboost could do with a bit more oomph but otherwise theyre fine, the one you're looking at is all good.

If you want a car that just works and has all the gadgets they're fine although the Sync system was flaky in the earlier models - ie it worked but was designed by an idiot.

TL:DR

They so what they say on the tin but won't get you excited to drive - its basicslly an ordinary car

We're upgrading from a 2007 Focus 1.6 tdci, so it will be an improvement. With two kids in tow and not wanting to go overboard on economy this seems like a sensible option.
