Abarth Spider auto for £149 a month

Popped into my local Fiat dealer and their current deal is £1800 down and £149 a month for the auto. Manual is £199 a month. Just seems silly cheap. Don't even need the car. But now having a midlife crisis and this seems to fit the bill perfectly.
Anyone driven the auto at all?

Not my cuppa - but I can certainly see why it's interesting
Frequently hear that the standard auto gearboxes are a bit pants from many manufacturers, and that they only come alive with a transmission remap from a third party tuner. Might be worth investigating if this is something that's currently available for the Abarth or not? I know when I was looking at buying a Golf GTi a Revo remap was considered a must for the DSG equipped cars.
That seems a very good deal - the Abarth 124 Spider is a 30k car!
I have just put a deposit down on a 124 Spider on PCP (not the Abarth): 250 down, 214pcm, 24m. 224 amortized. Sadly base spec without touchscreen or heated leather. I would much prefer an Abarth but couldn't cope with the auto and don't have 1900 quid to put down on a lease (and the manual would be 50 quid or so more expensive on lease without the chance of equity at the end).

So it is really not that cheap - 80 quid a month or 1920 over two years more than my current deal. It's actually better value, as the Abarth is much more expensive and retails at over 30k. But, yeah, if it's more than you're willing to spend and don't really want the extra performance, fuel usage and rental costs every month, it's just a bit of a waste really. Those are also automatics, which i'd much prefer, but i know you're not so keen. I don't disagree that the deals are good value, it is just more than I wish to spend! Tbh, the Abarth doesn't seem that much more powerful (30hp and around 0.8s quicker to 60), nor does it use much more fuel nor cost much more to insure, the biggest advantages being the better badge, the sportier interior, the sports suspension, the limited slip diff, and the dual zone exhaust which I imagine sounds miles better than the Fiat. I would really like one, but not for two grand more to rent it for two years. Also, wouldn't want an automatic on this type of car, especially one that isn't meant to be very good. Base trim Fiat is fairly spartan - it has bluetooth, cruise, air conditioning, leather steering wheel and gear knob, and keyless start, but that's about it. Cloth seats.
It would have been 40pcm to go up to the next spec: heated leather, touchscreen and sat nav, rear parking camera, bigger alloys, automatic climate control, front foglamps, keyless entry, chrome exhaust tips and a "premium silver finish on the windscreen frame and rollover bars" (whatever value that adds ...).
I would quite like the heated leather and the touchscreen, but quite frankly it is a two seat roadster and with the roof down I think the last thing on my mind will be the touchscreen and leather seats - so not worth it, to me, to pay an extra £960 over two years for the privilege. If I were buying outright, no doubt it is worthwhile.
I would have probably paid up to c 250/260pcm amortized for the Abarth, but over 300 is too much (and as I said, I would rather PCP than lease).
These are stock deals - hence why I can no longer get the blue! To get the deposit contribution of 5300 from Fiat it needs to be registered this week and hence factory orders can't be done.
EDIT: Also, cheapest manual lease on the Abarth is 360pcm amortized - a LOT more expensive.
