Audi S3 07 plate?

Evening all,

Been wanting something fun that has a bit more power than my trashy 1.2 eleven year old clio. Found a smart little 2007 Audi S3 for about £5,500 but they do look a little dated & I’m having trouble deciding what to do.

Can anyone who’s had one help me out? Good & bad points? Mpg, how do they drive? Or should i go for something else altogether?

They had a facelift in 2009 which look much nicer. Also facelift have the option of being automatic

Something wrong with that price, typically they are seven to 12 grand, that is real bottom of the market, may be a bargain but proceed with caution, maybe a scam being that suspiciously cheap.

I did think it was cheap. Dealer seems to have really good reviews though, may have to go and see it tomorrow

It's an 11 year old car - I'd buy on condition and service history, plus allow some for the minor bits that will need doing (hence why it was probably sold)

There are cars around for that money, but high mileage dogs...
