Hi all
Finally bought my first car, got an awesome vauxhall corsa sri 1.6 turbo. Bit of a problem though, I can't drive it for 4 weeks so my question is how is the best way to keep the engine running as well as it can? Start it up for 5 minutes every week etc.
Thanks in advance.

I would just leave it and drive it in 4 weeks time.

4 weeks is nothing for a new car,it won't go out of tune.
Just leave it parked until it's time to drive.

It's not a new car it's a 59 plate, will that make much of a difference?

No. You will probably do more damage by starting it for a few minutes than not at all.

The one thing you could, do but probably not needed this time of year, is put a trickle charger on the battery to keep it fully charged.

Don't worry about it standing and enjoy it when you can drive it. Your first car is always a bit special smile
