Hi,

Im due to be delivered a VW Passat Estate in 2 weeks which is on PCH, I wasn't offered maintenance as part of my quote but I believe I can add it now before handing the signed documents over.

Should I get the maintenance plan mentioned on my agreement? They are quoting £13.77 excluding tires, the lease is over 36 months (6+35) so I the total is £495.72.

This is my first lease car and previously on my PCP cars I just paid for servicing myself but that was a smaller car (VW Polo).

I also have no idea at this stage if its fixed servicing schedule or flexible servicing schedule, but I will lean towards flexible due to latest technology and that my 2015 Polo was based on that and told me exactly when the service was due.

Im contracted for 10k miles a year but usually only do around 7-8k miles so I don't need tire maintenance.

Hmm, if it only needs one service in that time will be expensive. If needs 2 then all good. Ask whether it will be on long life service plan. My Cupra was and meant it didn’t need servicing when I had it (2y or 20k miles)
