XF Sport Brake or CLS Shooting Brake - help me choose.

I thought I was ready to move on a nice dark grey XF 3.0ds Portfolio Sportbrake and a CLS Shooting Brake drove by and got me thinking.
Also in 3 litre guise the two cars seem to be comparable the main thing separating them is that the XF comes fully loaded as standard and the CLS needs spec checking as if you are not careful you could end up missing crucial toys.
Out here the Merc makes more sense come selling time as they like CLSs here, and garages that service Mercs are plentiful, the Jag thus being more left field but of these two which would you go for and why ?
