I NEED ADVICE ON BUYING AN MK7 GTI

I’m seeing an used 2015 Volkswagen Golf GTI Autobahn w/DSG, and has 18,000 miles on it for $14,995. I went to test drive the car and completely fell in love with it. It’s listed at a wholesale around my area and I’m taking my cousin who is a Professional Mechanic up there in two days to inspect the car. The car looks great in terms of cosmetics and there is little to no rust under the hood. The only problem is that while I was checking the carfax of the vehicle I saw that there was structural damage about 3 months ago... Although this happened, the car has a clean title and it wasn’t an accident which makes me think that whoever damaged the vehicle hit it against something other than a car. I need a bit of advice on the vehicle, it should still have manufacturers warranty on it. It also comes with a 60 day/3500 miles service policy from the wholesale.
