I have a Mk1 1999 Ford Focus, the thing is I do really like the car but i am thinking it might be time for a change. I use it for my business callout which is great however the repairs are coming in fast. The main problem I have got at the moment is the clutch which has gone at around 80,000 miles. I can use it but is frustrating getting to those high speeds but ok once momentum is built. Also, the speedometer is very jumpy and doesn't function most the time plus the transmission dies off when the car stops sometimes. ( I was told it is a dirty throttle). I also the left caliper isn't functioning correctly. Despiet these things it still works and gets me to where I need to. But it isn;t without repairs already not too long ago. On the car there has my business graphics on etc. it's just the thought of getting all these business graphics redone and cost a lot of money with a new car, but it is just under 20 years old. My mind keeps jumping between keep and then new car, smile

What are peoples opinions on going ahead?

Thank you in advance guys for any help.

What can you afford?
Fixing the car you have will be cheaper in the short term than buying something else.
If you have more budget available then a newer car should save on repair costs.
