Ford Focus MK3

Hello I am thinking of changing my current car (Fiesta Zetec S) for a Focus mk3. The car will be petrol either the 1.6 or the 1.0 ecoboost. I recently hired a MK3.5 which I was very impressed with. It had the 1.0 engine however with it being a 67 plate it was quite expensive. The car will be a hatchback and probably zetec/titanium specification.

Budget is £5k for one of these cars.

Any pointers on what to look for when buying ? Any common faults ? Good options to look for ?
