Hi, just joined PH.

I'm looking to buy a Peugeot Partner Teepee / Citroen Berlingo Multispace.

Which engine - 75,92 or 115 BHP - is generally the best?

Also for towing?

When it comes to power more is always better.
115BHP is the way to go.

They're all the same engine - the 16v 1.6HDi - just with different levels of tune. That's an engine with a certain... reputation...

Shame they don't do the 2.0 in those still.

Later ones are ok if they have been looked after, avoid any with gaps in the service history....

Thanks.

Are all BHP outputs adequate for towing up to 1300kg?

"Adequate" is a very personal thing... It's going to be a damn sight easier with more power, that's for sure.

Have to agree..the more powerful engine will make for an easier tow.

As long as that power (and even more importantly, torque) doesn't end up being delivered too far up the rev range.
