BMW 1M - in the market but need some advice

Hi all,

There’s no denying that the 1M is brilliant and desireable car. With only 450 made they have had a great go at holding their value and increasing quite a bit over time.

I am looking to buy one, not only for the investment but also as a lovely car (also for investment purposes, however).

I was hoping to get a debate going on what people think a decent mileage would be to buy for a budget of circa £50k. I obviously want to have it also as an investment, but let’s get this debate started and see where the value lies.

Friend of mine has owned his from new, has a number of cars so there is very little mileage on it. We were talking about the market for them the other day and it's getting to the stage were people are asking whatever they want for them in the hope someone will bite. I think for that budget you'd easily get a sub 10k mile car or very close to it.
