Coming to the end of a lease and have decided not to bother with another one.

I don't really have any plan or idea of what I want and I find chopping and changing my cars quite frequently part of the fun (last 2 leases have had other cheap cars run alongside them to keep me occupied). We've got a family car and I've got my 205GTi to keep me happy but I'm thinking for a bit of fun I might devote about £10k to ticking a few boxes on cars/types of car I've never owned. I'd probably change the car every few months (unless I really loved it) and try to lose as little as possible (if a car sts itself and I lose the lot then so be it).

So far my list is. I've never owned a...
Renault sport
fast Ford
V8
Jap rally rep type thing
big 4x4
A proper big luxo barge (could tick that one with the V8)
sporty mini (fancy an R53 as I've also never owned anything supercharged)
an Alfa

So what would your budget conscious list look like? Can be specific cars or general types/characteristics.

A few rally reps are at the bottom of their depreciation curves, Evo's are on the way back up, loads of scoobies around. I have a Celica ST205 which is slowly going up in value - and a hoot to drive :-)

V8/luxobarge : I'd go anything german, ie BMW 7, Merc S, Audi A8.
Big 4X4: anything Japanese, but probably a Shogun/Pajero as Landcruisers hold their value well

No experience with the other categories
