Is this BMW E9X 330d over priced?
Discussion
Hello folks
I'm interested in this car for my next daily, but I can't help but think it is way too overpriced for its age. So I thought I'd ask you lot to see if it isn't just me being a tight arse

It looks expensive to me I would not want to pay more than £12/13k for the old shape personally even if it did mean getting an example with a few more miles.
This looks a lot better car for £1k more than this

I wouldn’t see such low miles on a 7 year old diesel as a good thing anyway. That sort of money would get you a very nice F series with better spec like this:

Looks on the high side to me too. I guess they're pricing it like that due to the low mileage.
As an aside, I fill up at the BP station next to this garage regularly, the cars look like they're well prepared.
That's exactly what I am thinking as well. The car does look in very good condition, but the low miles doesn't really bother me. As an aside, I fill up at the BP station next to this garage regularly, the cars look like they're well prepared.
Awesome, that is good to know, thank you

Although there is no way of knowing at point of sale, don't knock a low mileage diesel.
I did between 4 and 6k per year in my 335d, but in my 5 years of ownership it never once did a short trip. I realise that not everyone wears the same anorak as me, but I just would not do it on principle. Same as not ragging any engine from cold, and letting the engine tick over after a concerted blat before switching off to let the turbos cool off. I may be preserving the car for the next owner, but that's just me!

Wow that's steep money for a E91 330d!
Lovely looking car though, so it proably has been looked after. If it was my money, I'd probably go for it if the usual inspections came back clear. I do prefer the EXX shape to the F30/1 that immediatley proceeds the E90/1 though, so i'm biased.
Plus they do steer better (IMO) as they have hydraulic powersteering rather than electrical assistance in the newer cars.
