OK, I am hopefully going to be looking for a small car with the following criteria:

1) £5k
2) needs to be small, Polo sized or under really, due to very tight car park. Probably a hardtop/hatchback I guess.
3) needs to be at home on a motorway, which kinda contradicts number 2 but that's how it is
4) reliable. Will be a work pool car so may end up left in a corner unloved and unused for weeks on end.
5) comfortable drivers seat would be nice
6) some Pistonheads factor would be great


So far I am thinking:

Suzuki Swift Sport
Mini Cooper
Panda 100hp

what else have I missed? Many thanks...

Had considered a Clio but wasnt really sure if it will stand up to the abuse of being an unloved pool car...

will take a look though...

It'll stand up to being a pool car just as well as anything else listed above will stand up to being a pool car.
