What is a Delivery pack on a new Merc?
Discussion
Hello all.
Been down my local Mercedes dealership and they have quoted me on top of the car price a Delivery pack for £954. I asked what this is and was vaguely told it was to do with getting car to the UK.
I would have thought this would have been included in the price of a new car not a compulsory extra charge. Does anyone else know anymore about what this charge actually is and is it negotiable?

Hi thanks for reply.
No it's not the gap/tyre/paint insurance, paint protection or the road reg/tax fee as they are all quoted separately.
Interestingly rang up some other mercedes garages and they aren't sure either.
