Hi Guys

1st post so go easy on me....

I'm torn between an MX5 or a Panda 100hp. Which one is more fun??
My dad is a powerfully build company director, he'd prefer me to get a luxo-barge but my man maths calculations lead me to believe I cant afford one.

thanks in advance for your help chaps

Your dad sounds ace. My dad is dead so can he adopt me please? I will drive a luxo barge (which I assume is a boat) if I have to.

Hahahah. I’ll ask him!

Seriously though. I mean a big luxury saloon like an Audi A8 or bmw 7 series that I can waft around in!
Mx5’s are fun but I’m looking at quirky Citroens on eBay. I’m tempted!

Depends on budget dude. The mx5 price range is huge. I have a friend with a panda 100hp and he loves it but they are getting long in the tooth now.

Ok cool. My friend’s dad’s best man’s cousin’s dry cleaner used to run one. I was a passenger in it in 2010. Never missed a beat in the 20 mins or so that I was in it. I remember him saying that he only used shell v power in it and that’s why it was so fast. I think he’s a ph’er too.

Barges can be equally fun but have potentially ruinous borkage factor and this needs to be recognised upfront.

What is the budget? This will dictate a lot

Also insurance may be a huge issue to
