Focus mk1 alternative (handling/roadholding)?
Discussion
Hey guys! Glad to be here, and needing some help or opinions!
I'm looking to buy a used car for a cost of around 2-3k.
I 'd been driving an ...unsteerable Corsa B for a decade, until last week that i fell into a canal with it (frankly, i'm surprised it didn't happen way sooner).
Given this past, my main priority is handling, and since i have driven a Focus several times and have absolutely loved it, my initial choice is that.
However, family wants the option of LPG, Fords are prone to valve seat damage, so i am trying to find other options (from superminis to large hatchbacks).
Is there any other car of that age and price that handles similarly well?
Grateful for any advice!

Where i'm from, conversion costs around €500-650 (including installation, paperwork, everything), so, that would give you a €2600-3600 car that can drive long distances very cheap...
It's not my first choice, but i can't say it's unreasonable...
