PCP: New versus 1 year old BMW 5 series msport 520d

Hi Long time lurker. Paid a deposit on a BMW 5 series 520D msport saloon - sport plus package and comfort access with reverse camera as extras. Dealer calls today and says car sold? and no more with same spec but tries to sell me one for 386/mth versus £323 previously agreed (6k deposit). Would you back away and look for lease or was this a great deal for a new 5 series with above spec. Wondering should I look to lease instead? If yes where? (Never leasedbefore) Or try and pursue dealer to look again (they weren’t sounding hopeful/helpful). Note: BMW 0% apr on new cars (pcp) ends this weekend with dealer (hence why working out the same per month than if i went for a year old model, which is what I originally had gone in for).......any advice appreciated.

The current 0% on 5's is for stock cars sitting around the dealer group Selling it to somebody else after you paid a deposit is pretty grim though - Id tell him to f
k right off and escalate to dealer principal although I can only speculate how bothered they would be.......He is also almost certainly giving you a crap deal on the new car
Go to Broadspeed, Carwow and Tony Lewis* to see what the best discount is
And buy it from somewhere else obvs
Im currently clued up as the 5 is on my radar as my next lease car.
520d saloons have been around 300/month on 6+23 recently and the 530d Touring £360
PCP sometimes has a GFV uplift for options so they cost slightly less than the sticker price but on the 5 nothing I looked at did anything so just add them to the list price and divide by the term of contract. TBH the M Sport plus pack doesnt do anything for me but I would upgrade the stereo to either the BMW Advanced or HK if I was feeling flush

Thanks. They have come back to me with another car but now I have also found a 1 year old which works out the same financially with a higher spec. It’s ‘8months old’ - Do I go for for higher spec 8 month old touring or new lower spec saloon with full 3 year warranty??!! Both are same costs over the term.
