2015 or 2010 Defender 90?

Questions really in the title. Does anyone have an opinion on which is preferable? Is the 2010 a better option given it’s the non DPF?

I'm no expert... but given all the known hassles with DPFs, and the fact they seem to be ££££ for replacements, I'd avoid them if I was buying!

Go even older.. a Defender is a Defender.. mine was built in 1992.

Defender driver here.

Go for the one in the best condition (chassis, bulk head, rear cross member, door sills and such) then consider everything else spec, mileage, bolt ons, . Have a look at the Defender2 forum as it's aimed Defenders of that era rather than th older ones...though they take anything Defender related.

Not owned a 2.4 or 2.2 "puma" but gather there's not a huge amount in it.
