Handling: New 2018 Focus or latest Mazda 3
Discussion
I'd like to know what you guys think of the new Focus handling-wise compared to the Mazda 3. I have had a mk3 Focus and it was quite ok, I felt what other people said about not being as brilliant as earlier generations. I felt the Fiesta was a lot more fun. But I was very impressed with the Mazda 3 when I drove it in the mountains 2 weeks long a couple of years ago. The misses in the passenger seat was the only reason for not trashing it on the roads I know!
Now I'll be choosing a new company car and I am in doubt as reviews are raving about the new Focus's handling. Also, the new Focus has some réally nice tech on board. On the other hand, the Mazda 3 is a lot lighter and weight is something I really care about. The lighter the better.
Is there anyone who has already driven both latest model, preferably the Focus with the advanced suspension (and perhaps ST Line suspension?)? How do they compare?
