Audi RS6 C5

So i want to dip my toe into Audi RS ownership, and initially wanted a C6 model but always admired the C5 from afar and the fact they are few and far between these days, so fancy buying a C5 to tick off the list and see how we get on

Obviously they are now getting on a bit so the usual gearbox and suspension issues are what ive been looking into, only looking for cars that have had good coilovers fitted and the gearbox refurbed ideally with proof, added bonus of having breaks done recently would be good also but other than these horror stories, are there anything else to consider before buying that could be big bills or expensive costs?

Im currently in a position i can deal with a bill etc so not worried about the running costs or throw cash at the odd thing to keep it going, but i'd like to experience the V8TT for noise, and thrill of a big old boat that can shift when it wants

Like to think they are at bottom of their depreciation and if i buy now then it should hopefully sell in 12-18 months for similar or more money hopefully, so is it worth the risk? Any owners who can add any input?
