MINI JCW - R53 V R56

I owned an R53 JCW and loved it, was sooo much fun. Replaced it with a Golf R which whilst great, was a bit too practical and much less fun.

Started looking at new cars and most of the R53 JCW's seem a bit long in the tooth, how do the R56 compare in the fun factor. Not sure I could do without the supercharger whine.

i have a Clubman JCW and its great fun, i have a Lotus Elise for weekend fun and nice days out but the little Mini is just as entertaining to use as a daily to be fair.

Watch for the earlier N14 engines, they are not as good as the revised N18 engine.

Change over for non JCW cars is 2010 the N18 is 184bhp in the cooper s and changeover for N18 in the JCW is late 2012.
