What to look out for - 2010 Astra 1.4T

Seems like cars of this age, regardless of the make/model, will have some gremlins but I'm hoping that by choosing a Vauxhall Astra that it'll be relatively gremlin free.

The car I was looking at has an electric handbrake and my mate reckons they're a problem. Is this an old issue that should have been fixed now or is it still ongoing?

I'd hate to be stuck somewhere with the parking brake on!

Is there anything else to look out for particularly?

Anyone had one?

From a quick internet search people seem to have gripes with the M32 6 speed gear box and also the electronic parking brake.


Has anyone experienced these issues?
