Megane 265 Cup to BMW 335i Highline DCT?
Discussion
So I currently have the Megane 265 Cup thats fully specced and overall a great car.
The only thing I miss is the sound and the way more cylinders drive on the road. Ive previously had the Z4 Coupe and E92 M3 and both had so much better engines than what the Megane has to offer unfortunately. Ive considered another Z4 Coupe but they dont drive as well on the road as the megane and the M3 was a fantastic car but not suited to the short journeys i do most of the time.
Has anyone had both the megane and 335i? How do they compare? Will it be a downgrade overall except the engine considering id be going from a Top spec 2013 car to a 2009?

I went from a Megane to a M135i. The engine sounded lovely, and gearbox was great, other than that, I preferred the Megane in every way. The BMW was mind altering-ly accelerative, but it was dull.
Was worried someone would say that. Ultimately its the 135i or 235i that i want but dont want to spend M3 money on anything other than the M3 really. The Megane is a great overall package and im struggling to find an alternative that is better all round
I seem to alternate between a big engine/nice sounding rwd coupe to various 4 pot high revving warm/hot hatches.
I guess hot hatches are fun to chuck about but can be a bit tiring and whiney when you want to relax. but bigger engine coupes sound great and are more comfy but ultimately lack the fun edge. there doesn't every seem to be a perfect compromise car. I guess that's why some people have weekend fun cars and day to day comfy barges, haha. good luck!
