Hi all,

What would you all consider the best performance car you can buy for under £30k (used) and why?

Considering a purchase for a big birthday approaching. Would love to hear some views, especially from owners of cars in this bracket.

Thanks!

The OP needs to clarify what he means by "performance car". Those wouldn't qualify as performance cars for me, but I guess it depends what the requirement is.

Guess that depends on what the £25k worth of work consists of i guess? The gr36 gearbox upgrades can run into over £7k. The FWD clutch upgrade around £1500-2k i think depending where you get it done. So thats 10k just there. But these aren't cheap cars to maintain or run. I would rather have someone spent 25k on the upkeep than to buy one with no invoices. It would all come down to inspecting the paperwork and providence of that car for me.

In reference to the OP, not much detail on what you "qualify" as a performance car. But IMHO these are what id have in the stable if i could afford them for each category. Not sure they qualify as i don't know what you mean by "performance" but these are MY choices. Everyone is going to have others though i guess.
