Track and occasionally road car £3000

I am selling my C32 amg estate as I very rarely use it, I currently also have a SQ5, a R8 V10 and a Mercedes sprinter 313 that I use everyday. I fancy buying a car that I can use occasionally for visiting customers when the wife is using the SQ5 (it’s not good to go in the R8) and that I can also use as a track day car budget around £3000 but could go to £5000 was thinking golf gti or S3 looked on eBay for track day cars but they are all a bit raw and not practical for normal road use, any ideas ?

Pretty easy get the best Clio RS with the Cup Chassis (why you considered a GTI or S3 for track fun I don't know) you can find (looking for an F1 version is a good starting point) & then just enjoy it, one thing I'd spend nearer to 4k which should land you a good one.

Thanks for that was also looking at Clio 182 as I had one before and found it great fun
