Looking to buy a VW Lupo TDI but there are none available on Ebay or Autotrader I know they are rare but up until a few years ago there would always be a least two available on each site.
What gives?
They sold hardly any of these in the Uk when they were new, and production ended 15 years ago - so its no surprise there are hardly any for sale. What gives?

Oh dear. Recently sold my Lupo GTI I had it ten years anyone else notice the prices for all different models of Lupo have fallen recently. Or maybe its just me.
Setting aside the GTI which has a cult following....Yes, the run of the mill Lupo’s have dropped to pocket change money now. Why? Probably because there’s much better options available now for people who want a cheap to buy, reliable and cheap to run little city car. The C1/107/Aygo are much more modern and come with £30 tax and a chain driven Toyota engine.
The Lupo is very old fashioned to drive these days. And we’ve got a 2003 1.0E that’s been in the family from new that I drive semi regularly.
There’s probably some downward pressure from early Up/Mii/Citigo now, too.

That is an exceptional example and I’d say will sell for that money quite easily - special little cars.If you could find a Gti in that condition it would be up for huge money.
