What two cars for £20-25k

My lease i3 goes back in April next year and thoughts are turning towards my next car(s)...

I’ve always owned one car and found myself getting frustrated with it not doing all that I needed it to, so I’ve come to the conclusion that the route forwards is to buy two.

The £20-25k is a bit nominal as I’ll probably have one of them on some form of finance, whether that’s PCP, lease or a loan. Alternatively, I could consider getting a larger loan and buying two £10k cars for example.

I basically want:
A) something fun to drive and/or commute in (short 5 miles along country lanes). And;

B) something which can be used to lug stuff around, go and collect fire wood, tip runs, carrying tools and/or commute in (short 5 miles along country lanes)

My current train of thought is to lease either a Dacia Duster or 2019 Suzuki Jimmy and then to buy an MX5, but it seems a little uninspired.

What would you do in my situation?

it's. combo of the Mk1 MX5 I've had for donkeys and a £20k Audi A6 AllRoad..
£26k will get you a very nice one.
Very pleased with the A6...... and it'll do all the things you ask....

Is go the other way and spend 20k on a nice weekend car..TVR, Jag XKR etc. Then take 5k over to the barge thread for some inspiration.

I'd get a Jeep Grand Cherokee in Overland spec these are pre DPF so no issues there:

Then I'd go for either a Megane RS265/275 Cup/Lux spec
