I’m going to be spending a lot of time on the continent, and would like a car to tool around in. Most travel will be planes, bikes, or walking, but I’ll have a secure space under the office and would like to use it for something a bit silly.

Which LHD muscle car will be the best combination of crazy performance and cool?

I’m thinking of the cars from John Wick, Vanishing Point, Starsky and Hutch or Gone in 60 Seconds.

Can I get a modern reinvention of a 70s classic design with the best part of 1,000bhp for less than a six figure spend?

You can buy European spec (type approval, lights etc) Mustangs on the continent from main dealers. Also, Is it the Toyota Titan? Anyway, the big US pickup, if that's your thing, well I've seen a few over there mainly on Dutch plates.

In a word yes you can but you'll have to import one but it won't have 1000bhp look for a Pro Touring but they're not cheap, but you can buy a Daddy Dave Racing GT 830bhp Mustang from a dealer for $55,000.

Pro Touring Mustang

DDR Mustang

My pick would be a GT350 this is the sweet spot you get the Voodoo V8 a more basic package than the R but the FT350 comes in at sensible money & you get that murderous engine in a very useable chassis.

But I'd find the extra & get the GT350R they're a weapon the engine note is unbelievable, how they got that through noise regs I don't know.

They handle amazingly well & you'll find you use it more than you would a resto mod & it'll retain it's value as these are a rare find in europe.

1) What are you spending,

2) Hellcat. Sorry ZX, Mustangs ain't got sufficient silly when these are around. Red Eye preferred. https://youtu.be/eZHJtKyhesY

No problem love the Hellcat Charger but that DDR Mustang has over 800 ponies which should be crazy enough for the OP .

another Hellcat vote here. Aside from the power, less common than a Mustang and more spacious as well

Go old school - some Ford Falcon 4 or 5 speed which has been tinkered with?

Long road trip....american style?
A late model Buick Roadmaster Estate would be my ride of choice, the LS1 engine is just the start of the argument. The pillow-top seats, massive road presence, space and comfort.
If you find a faux-wood painted one...it does not get much more ridiculously american!
