Thoughts on the Infiniti FX / Qx70 or similar petrol SUV?

Morning chaps, having just sold my Merc C63 coupe I'm looking to buy something a bit more practical, especially with talk of babies in the not too distant horizon.
Budget is up to £15k and I've found myself strangely drawn to getting an SUV as I know my wife will appreciate the elevated driving position. As we'll be sharing the car it must be an automatic and I'd prefer a memory driving seat option so we don't have to keep adjusting the seat every time we swap over.
Not really a fan of estates (unless it was a facelift C63 wagon or RS4 and the budget doesn't stretch to that).
My criteria is that it must be a nice petrol engine - we only do about 8k miles a year and I don't want to endure a diesel for that level of mileage - and I don't want something that has a high chance of throwing up a ruinous bill. Unfortunately it seems like the majority of used cars at this price point seem to be diesel and petrol engines are like hens teeth...
During one of my many autotrader trawls this morning I stumbled across the Infiniti FX (also apparently rebadged as the Qx70)... On the face of it it looks to tick a lot of boxes... I love the fact it's quite quirky and a left field choice and the spec seems great for the price. You can get them with a petrol 3.7ltr unit used in the 370z and also a 5ltr V8 which is even rarer it seems.
Edit: Just had a look on PH and there's a thread running in Japchat - it seems they are fairly reliable but dealer support is very patchy. Pricing seems all over the place (seems they don't book on glasses guide) - some private sales asking silly money, and dealers chancing it with pricing (even though it seems they don't even want to buy them themselves!).

The prices for these are all over the place because they weren't cheap so some are trying to recoup their losses but that helps you, the one you've linked to is a cracker especially with some of the manufacturers warranty still left on it.
I say get on the phone & make some arrangements to view it.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. The XC60 and Lexus look a bit too staid for my liking... I like the idea of the Jeep SRT but not sure about bork factor and perhaps looks a bit dated now.
Just looked at the boot space... Apparently only 410 litres (BMW X6 is 500 litres) which is surprisingly small for the size of the car, but it should be ok for our needs.
