When it's too cheap...
Discussion
Just recently, I've been browsing the classifieds of various sites (eBay, AT etc.) for a broad range of vehicles.
A couple of times now I'd seen cars which are reasonably new, low mileage, desirable spec, private sales - yet about 60% of the price that others are.
In each case there have been clear photos including the reg, good MOT history, everything (bar doing a HPI) checking out... which makes me severely confused as to why they're so cheap. We're not at all talking shed money, but nearer the £10k mark.
How do you determine whether a car is recklessly cheap, or a scam? (aside from travelling a fair way to find out in person)

Common sense and the basis that if it sounds to good to be true......................... etc
Unfortunately common sense is an oft lacking commodity.
True.Unfortunately common sense is an oft lacking commodity.
I'm not a fan of the colour, but surely there's something odd going on here, for example:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2012-Volvo-XC60-2-4-D5-...

By the fact the listing has been removed I'm going with either a hacked account or scam
Ah fair enough - my spidey senses were correct then.Either than or someone else thought it was too much of a bargain, and reported it as a scam

This was the listing (in brief detail) - FSH, fully spec'd with Polestar upgrade....
