Misfire, Eml and rattling dmf - reject car?

After years in sheds and them rusting away around me I thought I'd go for something newer and always loved 6 cylinder BMW and VW vr6s. R32 was my choice, found one at a local dealer, looked in great condition drove nicely, history was good and they said 3 month warranty. Chopped in my perfectly working e36 325i that was getting frilly round the edges. Agreed sale on condition they do tracking as wheel was off. Arranged for next day at their nearest garage they use.
Next day eml and misfire. They said they would sort too. Get a call later, can't do tracking bushes are worn and they won't sort those, Eml gone. Wouldn't tell me the issue just that the lights off.
Took it away again and misfire still there. This time they weren't interested in it when I contacted them, apparently the car was too cheap so they can't look into it as there's no margin.
Needing a working car I took it to my local specialist who scanned it and got 5 faults. 4 lambda sensors and throttle body. They cleaned the Tb and said to see if it cured, foolishly got the dsg and haldex serviced the same time so I'm in about £400 now.. Seemed to work but the mis fire is back. 1 lambda still needs doing after re scan.
Over the weekend I started it up to the dreaded sound of a bag of marbles when cold in park. This went away once I drove it but am very aware of the videos about that it's potentially dmf breaking up and a big job.
It's booked into the specialist for the lambda tomorrow, I have about 10 days left in my 30 day window. What to do. Wish I bought another shed to be honest as much as I love the car it's the most I've ever spent on one and I have no faith in it. For reference is a 57 plate 3 door steel grey dsg r32 with 94k and fsh. It's a great spec and really clean, could say it's a bit of dream car that's been years coming.
I think I'm going to run the car in to specialist early and ask their opinion on the dmf and a cost worst case before they do the lambda. They can see it cold in the morning then. Car was listed at £7450. I paid £6500 plus my e36.
Had a few emails back and forth re the misfire that they have fobbed off. Not brought up dmf issues as this is the first time I've noticed it.
Apparently their 3 month warranty only covers catastrophic failure of gearbox or engine not any faults...
If I got a refund I'd still be down the £400 I've spent plus all the insurance and tax I've used and I noticed they only put my e36 325i value down as £159 px! It's gone hurt either way I go!

They sound like a dealer that is completely lacking in honesty, so I very much doubt they'll touch the dmf which can often be blamed on either wear and tear or user fault. Besides, would you really want them working on your car now?
I would get the car sorted by someone you trust and accept the losses as a price to pay for a car you've always wanted. Then leave negative reviews for the dealer in every possible location they are listed.

They don't actually have a workshop they've got their local garage which I assume just cleared all faults under the instruction of the dealer. I think they wanted to sell me poly bushes however for around £500 fitted hence they say bushes are too worn to do tracking. Drives fine just the wheel was over slightly.
Its me that's taken it to a reputable specialist for diagnostics and throttle body clean +dsg/haldex service. Luckily I've had some time off work to sort it all out.
Really makes me want to shed it up or go brand new haha

Dealer now hinting at contributing to sort the car at a specialist though I've not heard back from them in a while and desperate for a working car now before next week. Not sure how much as chains look to be anywhere from £1600-£3500 on the r32, plus the other faults. Would be a sorted car for a long time if it all got done.
chains and tensioners ought to be inspected and changed, they are not a for life item. you are lucky they have not failed and can be replaced without having to split the engine.
it is VERY worthwhile getting the clutch, slave cylinder and waterpump at the same time, hence why the cost of chains varies as there are lots of other little jobs you can do whilst the engine is apart
A R32 with new chains, tensioners, clutch and waterpump shouldn't need anything beyond maintenance for years
