What car... for my ma?

Folks,
Mum is 69 and still likes to drive in a spirited fashion. She currently has a Mini Cooper Clubman (08) and an old Polo as the dog car...
Polo has finally gone to car heaven today.
She needs a replacement for both cars, it’s bonkers her not just having one all rounder so...
Up to about £5k
Petrol (purely due to usage)
Decent driving
Not humungous but... can fit a lurcher and lab in the back, so probably estate
She tends towards the more ‘premium’ brands. She is thinking Golf...

Skoda Yeti is a good shout. Some sort of KIA like the Venga that still has a few years of the 7 year warranty.
