Here's the situation, i now get to walk to work(lucky me), so the car is sat on the drive 4/5 days a week and as such its starting to play up thru lack of use, its idling funny and misfueling, anyway i was thinking as i now do a 25 mile round trip twice a week with passengers and the odd 1 mile trip to work if the weather is stty, i was thinking a hybris might be the answer.

£4/5k budget so would an ex taxi insight/toyota be a reasonable buy as i dont know how well the batteries take mileages of 140k.

thanks

What is your current car? Thrash it once a week for the sake of it to save it sitting about?

Would be cheaper to fit a new battery or whatever than change cars.

Why a hybrid? Sounds like something fully electric would work for you

Was also thinking this, especially as it's on a driveway but not sure if there's many EV's around at that budget?
