New to leasing - how much should I budget to pay for a

small runabout.

I do 5000 miles per year, it's mostly just me but I'm ferrying occasionally some of the kids about.

Not bothered about the make or model - I'm thinking that a 18-24 month period would work best for me.

Just new to leasing and no idea what a good deal looks like!

Dont forget to factor in the initial cost and any fees. For example a deal which says something like " two years at £109 per month on a 9+23 deal and £175 admin fee", is really costing you 9x£109 (upfront fee for first month) + £175 admin fee + 23 payments of £109, which is a total of £3,663 over the 2 years, so it's really £152.63p a month. Hope that makes sense??

Exactly, work out the total cost you pay. For instance I’ve looked for cheap Fiesta and Fabia deals as suggested, and they tend to be based on an initial payment in the region of £1500
