Cheapest cars money can buy (not auction - actually work)
Discussion
Ok my clutch has gone on my shed at the worse time of the year. I am probably without a car for nearly 2 weeks.
Considering options on what to do. I could rent a car for a few hundred quid and risk them trying to rob me for the 1000 pound insurance excess if they claim it is damaged.
Or I could find a car for 300 to 400 quid and keep it as a back up, this car could be anything, long as it runs. I could also sell it when I am done with it in a few weeks.
Ive tried gumtree, eBay, auto trader. Options seem thin on the ground right now.
Anyone got any out of the box suggestions to keep me mobile until I can get clutch swapped?

You should be able to get a clutch sorted for it for c.£400ish - have you tried whocanfixmycar.com
I've called round loads of places and people. Some dodgy garages quoting 375, most want 550 ISH, main dealer is 625, a friend of a friend is gonna sort it for 380. I know I can trust him.Bennyjames28 said:
