Large capacity car/Estate/SUV with 2.5k

Looking at getting a huge daily driver that allows me to take my mk1 TT daily off the road to do some bits to it in the garage!

mainly looking at estates (Saab/BMW) and older SUV (XC90 etc) and would like some advice from any owners out there!

Just has to have a big boot and be comfy! with about 2.5k to play with!

- 330i e46
- XC90
- Forester/Impreza/Legacy
- Saab Estates

if any others come to mind please let me know!!
Any issues to look for, maintenance milestones to hopefully find to be done before purchase etc.

I'd say take a good look at the Mondeo it's about the best option for your budget if you want a good reliable car with sensible miles:
