E-class coupe buying help
Discussion
Looking for some help understanding the suspension options on used E-class Coupes.
I'm looking for a E350d Coupe. Was originally in market for saloon but quite like the style of the coupes.
It's a minefield of sport, adaptive, comforth, agility control and in some cases Dynamic Handling package which I believe has a button on the RHS of the media wheel for comfort / sport.
My reason for changing is mainly comfort. I have a M325d tourer, great motor but stiff on a daily drive. The other end of the spectrum in this instance is the e-class saloon, which I tought was quite impressive on a test drive.
So, with a standard suspension on a E350 coupe (mostly AMGs) is it going to feel more like the M325 or the saloon. If I knew the coupe was comfortable I'd have travelled to see some recently as there's none in my neck of the woods, but don't want to fly to see a car just to be frustrated by stiff suspension.
Just seems to be a myirad of suspension options which mean nothing to me in terms of comparison to the saloon.
Thanks!

Only you can define what is acceptable to you. The standard AMG sports suspension on 18" wheels can be a bit hard and bouncy over less than glass top roads compared to the SE, even worse on the 19" wheels which also have a habit off cracking.
The low profile tyres don't help.
The Coupe is also based on the C Class chassis so you are really getting a C class in a pretty skirt, and I know from my experience that the C class does not ride as well as the E class.
You really need to try for yourself, one mans meat as they say.
