Hot Hatch for 18 year old
Discussion
So. Looking to sell my current first car and get something with lower mileage that's got some decent acceleration and can handle well on twisty roads. I've got around £4k to play with and have already looked at corsa vxr's seat ibiza cupra's and was just wondering if anyone had any other input.
Many thanks

Wow if it was only 1k I'd take it & buy the VXR if you're looking at the 1.4 Twin Charge VAG cars then I'd avoid those like the as they're far from reliable, I'd suggest you take a look at the Mito Cloverleaf:

Or the Twingo RS

i would be absolutely shocked if you can find insurance on a corsa VXR at 18 for a grand.
personally i'd stay away from hatches and other cars known to insurance companies at young persons weapons of choice to put into hedges
look at the obscure performance cars for cheap insurance
Volvos and saab turbos are always a good bang for buck on insurance. get a saab 9-5 with 250 bhp in 2.3t spec and compare it out of interest
