With 10k average p.a. this is way over. Never had a Countryman before. Do I need to be concerned about this higher than average mileage?

Thanks

Personally I'd avoid buying a diesel that's done less than 15k miles a year. So 52k in 3 years is spot on - means it will have most likely done plenty of motorway miles and will be much more reliable than a low-mileage diesel that's spent most of its time in stop-start city traffic.

What's your annual mileage going to be?

Is there a reason you're looking at a diesel when you're doing relatively low miles? What sort of journeys are you going to be making?

A couple of 75 mile motorway journeys a week and a diesel could be an ok choice. A 12 mile daily commute through stop-start city traffic and I wouldn't touch diesel with a barge-pole.

As above when you're annual mileage is nearer 8k then I'd recommend a petrol.
