Is there a way, similar to right move where you can tell how long a car has been advertised on AutoTrader?

Yes, the date is in the address bar IIRC.

Can someone help me on the original date of posting on autotrader. Would https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201... mean it was posted 11th December 2019 ? And this one https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202... mean 26th February 2020 ?
I'm a real auto trader virgin smile

We should have a competition to see who can find the advert that's been on the longest.

I had one a while back that was just short of six months.

I'm sure there's plenty been on for much longer.

This must be why traders sometimes take a car down for a week and then re-advertise. To keep the stock looking fresh.

I've never bought a used car, but needs must in this climate. Can you guys look at the advert for the December mini for me as it seems a long time to be online and seems a good deal to me. 5 months on line is quite a long time......

Yes I am in estate agency and that's the trick. Take them off and re-advertise them. The last date comes up only.......seems these 2 people didn't know that ha ha smile

This ad dates from Sept '15 although the car has been for sale there at least 18 months longer - so 6.5 years. it's gone up in price by £130,000 in that time!!!!

Well, was Christmas, then New Year, then CV hit and that has kept us all a bit busy.

Plus, diesel isnt the draw for punters it used to be, that particular one looks fine, it just doesnt look very funky in black with some fairly plain looking small wheels and they arent all that fast, though should be fine and very economical.

As long as the HPI and all the other checks are ok, its probably a decent enough example if thats what you want, its only three years old and has 14k up.

It being around is mainly down to those factors and there being a lot of cars for sale and not that many buyers, make a reasonable bid for it and see what happens ?
