MK3 Seat Leon 2.0 TDI 150
Discussion
Hello all,
after my post a few months back regarding getting a fabia monte carlo, i have slightly changed my mind after driving my fathers Leon 1.4TSi ACT.
i have since driven a 1.2TSI monte carlo and felt slightly underwhelmed. now heres the conundrum, i have a 13 mile commute daily to and from work and the garage round the corner have a 2015 Leon 2.0 TDI 150 for sale at a very attractive price. My mileage would be the 26 miles a day commuting and a 300 mile round trip every other weekend to visit in laws. would i be better getting the 1.4TSI ACT 150ps ( or even the 1.4TSI 125ps) or getting the 2.0TDI? either way its going to be a leon next as the golf is a bit overpriced for the same age and i dont like the a3.
Thanks PH'ers

With you overall journey usage a diesel will be fine but if those trips to the in laws are going to become less frequent then I'd say go for a petrol.
Take a look at the 1.6T Astras in 180/200 guise depending on your budget they're as well built as the Leon, just as reliable & normally better value.
