Mk7 golf gti (2015)
Discussion
Hi all,
Great to be part of this community!
I am looking at buying a 2015 golf gti manual, is there any decent buying guides out there, I think I am aware of all the potential issues
Suspension rattles /niggles
Oil commsumption
Timing chain tensioner
Any other advice to consider when test driving?
(Sorry if posted in wrong section)
Thank you!

I don't think much goes wrong with these, I was fortunate to have one from new and in the 40k miles I covered in 2 years of ownership it was faultless.
This is quite a good forum for them http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?board=117....

Ive got one, take it for a good test drive, make sure the clutch is not slipping - lazy driving wears the clutch. Listen out for suspension groans when turning at low speed - the early ones had suspension top bearing issues. Also make sure the heater is blowing hot air - gel pack in the coolant bottle sometimes splits. Other than that generally very reliable cars.
Try and get one with the PP (Performance Pack), it includes larger front and rear brakes, exta 10 hp and VAQ slip diff.
