Does anyone here have a Vauxhall Astra Mk4?

I need a bigger car so I'm selling the trusty Micra k11 1.0l and looking at an Astra Mk4 1.6l as I've read they're just as reliable. I work as a fast food delivery driver which is probably the worst type of driving for fuel and I only get 30mpg. What do you think I'd get in the Astra Mk4? And have you personally found it to be as reliable as Japanese cars? Or is there another car you would recommend? Thanks for the help
