Skoda Superb or VW Artheon (both 280 4x4)

Can't decide. Needs to be big for family/work balance. Fancy a change from the diesel 5 series. I suppose I need to set some time aside for test drives

Both are going to depreciate quite an amount so say to hell with it and get a superb in l&k trim

I think visually the Arteon is quite striking and having been a rear seat passenger in one I think they’re great. Sloping roofline not a problem, very comfortable. Dashboard isn’t very striking, just like a Golf but with the air vents from an A4...

Superb is bigger in the back but I’d question whether you need the extra space unless your kids are teens. I’d imagine the Skoda would depreciate more because of the badge...

Had been considering an Arteon but the depreciation looks horrific so my usual changing every 2-3 years would be expensive.

Looks great though but now looking at a 530i.

Been considering a change from my own 5 series and thinking of alternatives, and especially like the look of the arteon. Before I got this one I had another 5 and considered a few cars and ended up back in another newer 5.
Sounds weird but I am a little bored with a 5 series as I’ve had a few but find it hard to get anything else.
